Are sample biases significantly affecting psychological experiments?

A large portion of disciplines, such as psychology and behavioural economics, depends on experiments utilising university/college students as subjects.  If the sample bias discussed in the article (WEIRD: Western, educated, industrialied, rich and democtatic) was significant indeed, perhaps the whole past works including e.g. those by a Nobel laureate Daniel Kahneman would need thorough review.
